i need MSP wireing digram for hks type-1 which wires to tap in for the tach,1/4 mile

i have it installed but dont know which wires to tap in for the tach,1/4 mile ect to work ???????

Hey,

If you want, you can tap into the wires on the back of your gauge cluster. You just pull the gauge cluster out, route the wires from the HKS back there and tap in using the wire taps they provide.

Here is what they are from a post by JDM Sam:

RPM - violet/white
speedo - green/red
e brake - blue/orange

There are three plugs on the back of the gauge cluster, you'll be using the the middle and the far right harness on the guage cluster cut away some the tape and ull find em.

hey, i had my greddy tt installed and they didn't hook it up to the e-brake, wut can i do

it stays on after the i take off the key and lock it but someone can still brake in and take off in it

YEA i fugured it out i just taped into my gauge wires now i can run my 1/4 mile watch my rpm,mph have it auto time fore me and alot more now i got what i payed for.........

take it back and tell them to hook up all connections. If they are a professional shop they will (should have already though).
