Doesn't have to be purple...there are thousands of colors and variations, but so many do the easy colors...why not do a variation of that...

And what is look looks???

look looks= bad ipod typing.

and im not really a fan of loud, look at me colors. i mean, twis's green wheels look awesome but i couldnt drive around with it. i just like to keep it simple. if i get tired of the gold. i may go white.

I am having a hell of a time deciding on a color for my winter wheels too. They're a simple 5 spoke design but they sit perfectly flush with my fenders so I want them to look somewhat aggressive without being over the top.

If i needed a winter set, i would have a crazy color wheel, but living in FL i dont need winters. summers all year long baby!

I am not saying don't go gold, I am saying use a gold that NOBODY else uses...a different shade/finish of it...

Soo.... a metro grey MS3 parked next to me today..... omg.. considering!!

then i saw a VR Rx8... hmmm gas mpg is to bad for me though..

well im late to the game here, but my vote officially put all 3 choices dead EVEN!!! heh sorry.

You know me, and you know my bias... MS6! Mileage isnt hardly different than MS3, same engine... so it is mostly HOW you drive it. the MS6 potentially gets worse mileage due to the AWD and heaver car, but like the MS3, it can be grandma driven just like any other i4 engine to get decent mileage. In the end your key words were "but what i really want" is an MS3. So you may become unsatisfied with the MS6 after a few months or so... As far as MS3 choices, 100% would say go with CWP!!!! they arent nearly as common as the black ones... CWP is sho shexy!!

Here is my opinion when it comes to final choice:
- If you baby your cars, and KNOW that you can handle premium prices & upkeep, than you would be able to manage a turbo car.
- If you are unsure if you can afford the premium gas and regular upkeep of a turbo car, might want to stick with N/A.
- concerning both routes and what you can objectively afford you also need to decide how long you think you'll be keeping the car, and if it is long term, will you be SATISFIED with your choice for the long haul (i.e. wishing from day one you got a turbo, or wishing after a few weeks you got better mileage)
- Aesthetically, and in your personal opinion, which car looks better? - of course a huge deciding fact... which in the end is a big part to your decision.

lol i talk too much.
hope that gives you a bit mroe to think about. (most of which was prolly already talked about)
cheers

Thanks!

I do like the Ms6 but im a hatchback man, and i dunno if i could rock a sedan ms6.

Gas im not really worried about, Premium cost what? like 7 bucks more a tank? and as long as im not getting SUV mpgs, i think i would be fine.

Im more worried about Insurance than i am gas. ive gotta get my mom or dad to call just so i can get a idea. im on their insurance now and the difference was like 20 bucks or so.. which id be more than happy to pay.

And to be honest, i like all the ms3 colors. the only color i wouldnt want at all is blue. and i wouldnt want red just because my dads is red. my favorite though is
Black Mica>Metro grey>white>Red>silver>cosmic blue

Just going to sell the 6 with the bbs's. im really liking this set up.

if you still have the 6 when im down at daytona (providing i come again this year) id trade you the ms6's for the bbs's that way you could still have a set of mazda wheels on the 6

I/H/E, timing, and VTCS removal for 44 hp? Dude, whatever you're smoking, pass it around! Haha!

Thats basically what levi has and he got 196.

the only things (that i know of) that he has that i didnt list was

BSD
Cat delete

and maybe a few other things. only difference is that levi has different brands of parts

Can i get some MS3 owners to chime in? i would like to hear how reliable the car has been for you (if your modded or not if modded what do you have) and how many miles you have on it. Id be looking for one with >30k.

also any younger MS3 owners like >25 or so. how much is your insurance? if you dont want to post it you can PM me.
