I luv where mazda put teh oil filter and how they did it. No mess what so ever when doin an oil change and an easy passage for your arm to reach it. +1 for Mazda engineers.

first off Raganoo, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Is this a joke? Most transverse I4 oil filters are no fun to get to. There is a clear path to it however.

Now the KL V-6 used on Millenias, 626s, Probes, and MX-6s has an easy to get to oil filter! Right on the bottom up front.

Well it may be because i had a lift but it was easy to get to once up in the air. And i really like it when i dont have oil dripping down my sleeve.

now THATS a different story!! lol yes I dont' have any leak on me ....but having to crawl under the car with it on stands and reach up BEHIND the engine is NOT what I would call an ideal spot for an oilfilter.....

you SHOULD be albe to change the oil in your car withOUT ever HAVING to put the thing up on a lift or jackstands.....

no....but you will still have an engine full of DIRTY oil and eventually its going to cause damage.....so change the oil too. all the filter does is get the chunkies out of it.....
