I killed the turkey

I used the method 505zoom recommended. I welded a 1 1/16 ID pipe on to the hot pipe and welded a 1" ID pipe on the intake pipe. Turkey is now gone. I also run a Boostscience BPV. It was inexpensive except for the BPV. Welding cost me 40.00 and the correct size tubing cost 21.00. I used prefabbed radiator tubing that you can get at autozone, etc.

well, enjoy your thanksgiving!!!! lol

what does sound like when u shift?

Yeah it definitely is a good method, thats the setup that came with my Mental Addiction FMIC and its worked great, so long as there weren't other problems elsewhere in the system screwing with things.

I wonder if it makes a difference whether it attatches to the hot or cold pipe?? I've considered trying to move mine from the hot pipe to the cold pipe, because it would mean alot less tubing, and shorter vac line to the BPV, and at least for my setup it would help get the air away from a ton of heat from the radiator. I would hate to swap it over though and then realize that it doesn't work as well at curbing compressor surge (turkey) as when its on the hot pipe.
