I recognized that when I drive as 21mph, suddenly operate brake even I didn't push the brake pedal like engine brake and then if mph became 12mph, suddenly released the brake. Is it normal? I think it's because of i-eloop system But! I don't have that option. I don't know why my car has problem with that. anyone have same problem with me? Or please let me know is it normal? Or it's problem. Should I go to dealership? Thanks!

Autor or manual? What gear? What RPM? How were you driving before this occurs? Does it occur every time you get to 21 mph? It is brake, not break, unless something already broke. I suspect it is the way you have been driving and it keeps the auto in a lower gear, providing engine braking and after a few seconds, the speed has dropped enough to provide very little braking.

Do you have the Smart City Braking System. This would explain everything.
Yeah, that would explain it, if he were about to drive into or through something. If so, that was a minor technical detail left out of the OP. ;)

My car is auto and i don't have smart city brake system. Yes every time occur when I get to 21- lower up to 13 and then 12- lower suddenly released engine brake.

Yup what rvoll said. It took some getting use to but after a while it doesn't seem as noticeable any more, unless I'm paying attention to it lol

I never even realized this feature before today when I actually paid attention to it. I did notice a different sound while coasting, but I didn't know that was the car applying the brakes itself. Pretty neat :)

I just bought my SGT sedan, last Saturday and noticed this, right away. I sometimes have to step on the gas pedal a bit to simulate "coasting" at a typical speed, but as long as overall mileage is good, so am I.
