I HATE Chris Rix

im glad im not an fsu fan. chris rix is overrated and has been his entire career. fsu needs to start looking towards the future if they plan on going anywhere.

Well, to me Noles got what they deserved. McPherson was a better QB than Rix. he got in trouble once & they bailed on him.

Laverneous Coles & the other WR (can't remenber his name), Get in trouble for merchandise fruad at a Department store (& I bet they lied at first too) & they let the other WR burn & went to bat for Coles. Can't be wishy washy with discipline. Has to be the same across the board.

Watch in Miami. They gave LB Willie Williams a chance (against my better judgement), if he screws up. The Canes are going to bail on him. My feeling was if the Noles didn't want him to even visit, then we should of went wide right along with them. No player is worth losing your program over. You know that punk Miles Brand (NCAA President) is waiting for the Canes to mess up again. So he can give Miami the death penalty. I honestly think he was picked on so much as a kid, that now that he has power, he's drunk with it. We need more coaches like Bob Knight. That's why he won't go to the NBA to coach the wrong people have control. The players... Off the subject a little, but had to vent...

you got that kind of backwards there.... Coles got bailed on, not Peter Warrick, but it is because it was Warrick's first offense, Coles had a history of issues... I know they didn't like doing it, Coles is a super tallent in the NFL, but so is Warrick, both good talents in the NFL

the McPherson IS a better QB than Rix, no argument, but he messed up in a way that no one would keep him on a team, because that is borderline getting your team and school in serious trouble with the NCAA

Ok, that's why I didn't remember the other WR name, he's not mentioned to much on "NA NANA NA NANA, Sports Center, brought to by Coors Light, Bring on the Twiiiiiiiiins..."

Warrick & Coles were facing Fed charges just like McPherson. A booster balied them out of Fed charges (I know it in my heart). They should of suspended McPherson for the rest of the season & then gave a thin Garnett Line to walk the following season.

Hell, Michigan State gave a alcholic a second chance...

Where's the folks from Canesville, I mean Gainesville. I know they're going to get involved. But truth remains the same. THE CANES OWN THE STATE FLORIDA!!!

I don't have much to say, but I'll chime in anyways. I'm glad FSU lost only because I'm a UF fan living in Tallahassee. So basically everytime FSU loses it gets really nice and quiet. Except for all the excuses, but that is to be expected. UF may be the worst losers but it seems to be a tie between UM and FSU for the worst winners. So needless to say it's nice to be a gator in Clowntown when the noles lose.
I still hate Miami, don't get me wrong. but since I only hear a few Miami people gloating about their win, I'm glad that Miami won.

I agree...win is a win. You have to take what you can get.

Yes, it would have been wonderful to beat the Canes. Going into the game every Nole fan knew a win was contingent on which Chris Rix showed up to play. Unfortunately, the charitable turnover prone double-agent Rix showed.

We still have a full season to recover...not that we'll be falling to far out of the standings. The frustration we feel is not so much a result of losing to the Canes. It has more to do with the poor performance of our QB and kicking game.

on another note Bowden does need to treat the starters the same as the rest of the team, he's benched the 3rd string guys before for the same stuff he told the first string guys not to do again.

last thing, i just hate Bowden, mainly cause well he's a jerk (this can be backed up if need be).

I don't think anyone is making excuses...just pointing out obvious facts about the Noles weaknesses. Allegiances aside, I don't think anyone actually thinks the Canes or the Noles "played their best." (screwy)

For someone so anti-Nole, anti-Bowden, and seemingly anti-Tallahassee (eg. clowntown), why are you there? It seems the only clown in town is the one that chooses to stay where he's least happy. Is there no room in Gainesville -your Utopia?

Look...I'm sure you're a decent person (even if your a gator), but the thread is about Chris Rix sucking. I suppose everyone has the right to opine, but Nole-bashing and twisting our factual statements on Rix's performance and labelling it as every Nole fans "excuse" is pretty absurd.
