Well, i did it. Went FI this weekend. Got a used kit from 1bdwgn. came with the flying miata manifold, ihi turbo, guages, mpi tuner, 2 extra injectors, all pipes, fitting and clamps, fmic. ill i had to buy was a oilpan for the return, and a little bit hose and about 20 bux in fittings. took all day friday before the car ran. had no leaks or problems, fired right up. only had 3 slowdowns the whole day. my old ractive header was a pain to get off. they had chrome plated the egr bung on it and i never sanded it off, so it bonded to the egr nut on the egr tube. that took a few hours to get off and then get a new tube on. then i had to get the fitting for the oil tee in the back of the motor re machined. last we had to trim the bumper a lil to get the intercooler right.
as of now im at 5psi untill i can get into the mpi and get it right for 8psi or so. but the car runs so so smooth and fast even at 5psi. i havent gone over 4krpm yet or more the 3/4 gas.
