HyperTech Tune Users: Please Check In!

I hope so! lol

Sorry... thought you understand my swenglish.... In Sweden the Cobb AB isn't an option, so of course was I talking about Hypertech and the Sri tune... And compared to the other "maps" the Cobb settings gives me the best performance... 0-100 mph in sub 13 sec...

That's cool, I figured it out. It's all good.

I was a user until i got sponsored by Corksport and became too modified for the tuner.

This is officially my first post (hi)! Installed mine today...WOW what a difference....Thing now pulls with the A/C on going up hill......I highly doubt I got "68whp" out of it but its a significant bump nevertheless...Definately more than my ATP SOUND pipe (test pipe/racepipe whatever its called....its better for sound then power LOL) and CP-E CAI.....The thing that really sold me on this is how effortless the car pulls (even on a 100 degree day) all the way to 6500rpm now AND Im probably not even getting the full potential from it...First off, I heavily TRACK my car so my clutch and flywheel wasn't ready for this :D. Second, my rail pressure according to the Aeroforce doesn't get any higher than 16XX-17XXpsi at WOT so I know my next mod needs to be the fuel pump, followed by FMIC (evil)

Anyways I digressed, yes I have one also, yes I love it, and if your on the fence about getting one YES GO BUY IT!!!! ;)

I'm glad that you enjoy it. That is 22!

Got an odd question for you HyperTech owners: with the tune and a few bolt-on's: is it recommended to run one step colder plugs? [like say the NGK Iridium IX] Thanks.

The HT tune was designed to run with OEM plugs. You can use plugs that are 1 step colder, but make sure they are gapped properly.

Just got mine in the mail and installed yesterday. WOW, This is how the card should have been from the factory! Great job, Hypertech!

I don't have one right now, but im thinking about picking one up soon.

BTW, it may be easier to count if you just add a poll to the thread.

I have another odd question for Hyptertech users.
For those of you running the stock wheels and OEM tires, how's the traction with this setup? And follow up if you're running wider aftermarket rims and tires that seem to be able to cope with the extra power, what size and type tire are you running?

I have oem wheels but goodyear eagle gts in 225s. I have yet to overcome the traction with the added torque and response down low, but at the same time I don't go anywhere near WOT in 1st through 3rd

That being said I have no doubt that the stock tread would easily be overcome by the power awoken by the HT

Traction is optional, controlled by the ECU atop your neck. (lol2)

Since the stock car is under-tired anyway, I suppose the question is rather pointless. I just wonder how much of the extra power can hook up at WOT if you're on stock rubber. Third and above is probably fine, no?

You can count me in, got a Hypertech Tuner a little over a month ago, and loving it... Had an issue w/ my 1-step colder plugs (misfiring), but gapped it close to the oem plugs (0.028-0.030), and it was cherry from there on out... I wonder if there's any other Hypertech Tuner owners out here in Hawaii...? =)
