hey guys! i just installed some Hyper White lights on my 00' pro, gotta say these are great, very very bright. i bought the Xe4200k Xenon Premium. I just did day driving with them and i can see my lights much better, i just checked it from pleoples cars around me, and i went outside before and just turned them on cause its night now, they looked very very bright and i turned the hi-beams on and i squinted and turned away. Im kinda concernced about annoying oncomming drivers, im going to try it after i do some night driving. Tonigh im going to be in my friends car, i did his bulbs too, 97' maxima, we did 6 xenons in his, so lets see peoples reactions to that.

I also recently replaced my bulbs and my girlfriends with the sylvania cool blues. I drive for a living and will tell you, the white, and cool blue are alot easier on the eyes. I appreciate those who have them. Its not as blinding as a halogen. Yes, they are bright, but dont have near the glare that halogens do. I dont think you will have any issues with people getting mad at you or your friends.

what wattage are you all running? never dealt with stock wiring, always added upgraded wire looms for running lights. have to do that when they have their own power packs, etc. lol. so what is stock and what are you running now? any problems with blowing fuses, hot wires (to the touch), etc? just would like to get something a little brighter but not rice bright. also how adjustable are protege headlamps? i hate these idiots that never re aim there stuff and its right in the windscreen at nite. thx.

sorry i havent replied, and to answer ur questions i have no clue. they are white but not annoying to other drivers, i think there a great add-on cause also i see better too now, so it its function and looks all together. i also appreciate drivers who have 6000k-12000k H.I.D.'s cause they are easy on the eyes and very effective. the 12000k are really really cool looking. I would like to research into H.I.D's for the protege. i would really like 12000k H.I.D's in Extreme Blue. but im afraid i might melt the car. I have no problem with these lights so far, i checked to see if i was burning the socket a few days ago, nothing there. i understand 4200K bulbs like i have could use some extra juice and better wires, but for now ill stick with what i got till i take the plunge into hid, and ill take some night shots on lo/hi beams

Ok its been a few months since i installed my hyper white lights, now yesterday i started having problems. At night my driver side light went out, i wiggled it, went back on. Then over the next few times they worked or i just hadda wiggle them to get them on. However today they were totally out. I noticed a few things when i took a better look. My wires and wiring harness were all melted away and destroyed. Plus one light was actually popped. So i went to my local auto parts place and bought the Nokya H.I.D heavy duty wiring harness and wires, installed that along with 2 new Xenon 4200k Bulbs. So far so good i will try and give another progress report if something happens with these. But to all that have Hyper whites or blues and kept thier stock harness and wires CHANGE IT, its an extreme fire hazard and also Murphys law states that your will find out you needed to change your harness's at night when most street lights arent on.

MOre info on local auto parts place harness?
Souds like something I need. Ive been running silverstars, love the light but I look around and see everyone with there silver and blue looking lights. I want in the club, silver stars just look like normal yellow headlights from the front.

What wattage you running to be that bright, and melt your harness? I have a set of 100w bulbs and am consitering puting them in (after the harness upgrade of course) So bright there not legal on any roads!!

i have to check the wattage on that i think its 60/65 Watts. But the wiring harness is the Nokya harness.

It takes like 10 minutes a light to properly rig up.

The lights i had that burnt through were the Super White Xe 4200k. They were bright but not annoying. On hi-beams it would light up anything. My new bulbs im not sure who makes them or anything all i know is they are the Hyper Whites again. The guy at the auto store though i wanted them to put it in, so they changed my lights, i only saw the box for a few seconds as it was on top of my car. Blue box, japanese symbols, and a reflective sticker that said XENON, any1 who knows what these are off hand letme know. Im almost positive these are 65watt lights.

Dont goto 100 watt lights, thats too bright for other people and also your GOING to get pulled over. I wont even question it. Unless you live in a farm or rural area you will get pulled over.
