edit: i didn't intend for this to be some sort of flame fest, so with that said, i'll drop it and ignore all future statements based on generalizaitons, idiocy, etc. should i post an invite when i organize the next drive (mt ham/mines/et al)?

OK guys. Let all make a peace. I'd hate to see the Hwy. 9 thread turned into something for the Dumpster.
We all have our personal likes and dislikes, but when it all come down to it, we are all doing it because we love to drive/speed/race, whatever! I may not like every car or driver I see out cruising around, but I can respect the other persons right to do what they like and pursue their love for cars in their own way. Yes, even the ricers. (kinda.

It's kinda like art. You may not like a paining/sculpture/song, but you should be able to respect the effort and time that was made to produce such a thing.
It's like I was saying last night. It was good to see Scoobys, Mitsus and Mazdas playing nice. Let keep it that way.
I for one would like you to post invites for other runs here. I may not be able to make them all, but the option to go would be welcome. I think many here share that opinion too.

Crossing the double yellow a little on a non-blind turn under 30 mph is fine, but when it happened on Skyline, I was going pretty fast and so was the oncoming/lane hogging traffic. With a combined speed above 150 mph, dont cross the ******* line...

Thats the one thing I think that makes it so easy for people to get POed on forums. You never know what kind of tone the other person was writing with. It may sound like a guy is atacking you when you read it, but in actuality, he was just kidding or being sarcastic.
Incidently, we have never met, so it would be cool to see you out there soem time. I'm always up to meet new Mazdas! (2thumbs)
For the record, That wasn't even us that he saw. Remember the BMW, Audi, Civic si, and other guys from the East Bay? Calvin's friends? The ones that were all fired up on Bear Creek Rd? THAT'S the guys that he's talking about.
After last night's run on my new tires, I seriously feel like I can keep up with a WRX up Hwy 9. (shrug)

You have AWD, why are you complaining about rain? You're also comparing apples to oranges (FWD vs. AWD in the rain).
Why don't you guys settle this on an autocross course and a track.
I know what the outcome will be

You have AWD, why are you complaining about rain? You're also comparing apples to oranges (FWD vs. AWD in the rain).
Why don't you guys settle this on an autocross course and a track.
