Hwy 9 Fun Run!

That's why I said Overboost.com. They have the Apexi filters with the flange for $69.95. Not that much more than a K&N. No oil/grease and lifetime filter, just wash and let dry.

I am waiting for mine right now to replace the AFE filter that came with my ION intake.

You want the 75mm one (the same as I am getting) http://www.overboost.com/obs/produc...Induction&sc_id=78&sc_name=Intake Accessories

But you'll have a one time expense of getting a silicon hose to go with it if your current filter isn't being held on by a coupler. I don't know how the MHP goes into the wheel well, but I would imagine getting a 45 degree coupler would pretty much let you position it however you want. If it goes into the wheel well and bends (like the Injen) then you'll probably just want a straight 3" coupler.

I'm in the same boat as Roy here. The filter sits on the inside of the well. I'd rather it not do that. It essentially comes staight down.

The 45-degree coupler is a good idea. Where could I get one (or two, if Roy wnts one)?

The straight down is the way mine was designed too. It's 3" pipe that essentially stops about a half an inch below the hole that it goes to in the fender.

I ordered a 3" 45 degree coupler for use with mine from turbohoses.com. It's not cheap, but worth it.

$49.99: http://www.turbohoses.com/45 Degree.htm

Might be available elsewhere for less, but turbohoses are the best silicon couplers you can get.

Pricey, you're right! But good lookin! Might have to jump on one.

I'll be at R&D after work. forgot to ask Rishie for a sticker last time I was there. Plus I got some new greenery that I know Rish would appreciate, if he can pull himself away. (lol2)

Probably be there between 5 and 5:30. Anyone wanna roll through?
