HUD settings not being 'remembered'

Loving my new 2017 CX-5 GT AWD with premium package.

My wife is rather short and needs to adjust the height of the HUD display every time she starts the car. For some reason, the car doesn't remember the last setting as default. Anyone else have this issue? Wondering if its a bug or if a flash of my infotainment will solve it. (currently on version 59).

Do you have memory seats? If so, make sure she sets the memory after adjusting the HUD height as it'll be saved in her memory seat slot.

Thanks! For some reason I hadn't thought about that. Now I feel dumb... but at least I can see my HUD

If you program the memory seat settings into your transponders, when your wife presses the door button and opens the door, the seat will automatically move into position and hud settings will also be set too.

OK, so I don't own a '17 as I'm waiting for the diesel to replace my '13. Without memory seats there is a constant shifting of the driver's chair between the 6' he and 5' she. But she moves the seat so forward that even she cannot exit the chair before moving it back. Does this mean if she sets a memory for the chair when she unlocks, the chair will move forward and she will have to shift it back, sit, and then press her setting to the desired position? If so it blows to be her.

Provided memory setting 1 is set to transponder 1 and memory seat 2 is set to transponder 2, if she has transponder 2, when she unlocks the car and opens the door, the seat will adjust exactly to her saved settings.

Later when you unlock it with transponder 1 and open the door, the seat will change from her set position to yours.
