:
2003.5 MSP
Stock MSP dyno'd 135 whp and 146 tq

Bolt-ons:
Injen Intake with 6 inch Air Ram
TH Upgraded SMIC with aluminum piping
SU Intake Manifold
GHL TB Exhaust
GReddy PR-B Spec II @ 9.5psi

RESULTS: These bolt-on parts, on the same MSP, yielded 201 whp and 203 tq.

I have put a HorsePower Jump package together. PM or email for details.

Hey Cullen,

Did you happen to run a dyno with all those mods at stock boost? I just wanted to know so I could get a baseline of where I could be.

Thanks,
Ryan

... I need to get thousands of dollars together to reach this goal. Well, at least everything up to the boost controller.

Nice work!

I'm trying to compare your stock numbers with mine and can't understand how you got such a low number stock. I dynoed on a DynoJet-248 with an on-board weather station that corrects for Temp, humidity, and barametric pressure. I have both measured and corrected numbers and they are quite a bit different then yours.

It shouldn't matter what the dyno #s are really, more so that the gain #s came from the same dyno so that you can see a true gain.

Thats a 66whp and 57wtq gain. Not to bad. But how much is this package?

Actually there are a lot of tricks you can pull on a dyno between runs to make it look like you have more of a gain. I'm not saying that's what happened, I'm just trying to understand how SU put down the lowest stock number I have seen, especially when he says he was on the same type of dyno as me.

All msp's are different! I have seen dyno numbers range from 130whp to 155whp stock.

No I do not have stock boost levels. Each MSP is different and will yield different gains. It wouldn't be accurate to compare anyway.

what's the Injen Intake with 6 inch Air Ram look like?

It is an Injen CAI with 7-8 inches removed from the pipe that lies in the wheel well. The air ram sits just inside the wheel to induct the colder air.
