I saw a HP Header on NOPI for the protege. Does anyone have this. Will it work for the MP3. Im just looking for any kind of info about it, or a Header for the MP3 in general.

Nobody really knows if it's good or not. Nobody has tried it. Whatever you do do everything you can to avoid Nopi.com. One of my friends owns a ZX3 he ordered some cams for his car and that was 3 weeks ago and guess what still no cams. Nopi has terrible customer service. As far as the header goes I guess you could try it but nobody knows what it looks like another words does it have all the 02 sensor holes or anything like that. Try it you never know just don't buy it from Nopi

thanks for the heads up. I have never bought from NOPI. I just snoop around. I usually get all my stuff from the shop I go to here at home. Im pretty loyal to them cause they have always done good work. Im getting the Skunk2 exhaust, it should be in next week and Im thinking bout some neons under the car, haven't decided yet though. 
NOPI isn't that bad of a retailer. The cams you speak of may be a part that they are out of stock on have you thought of that or they have to order them from their supplier to be ground. And BTW As far as I know NOPI is the only retailer of HP Racing products. The Headers are not out yet NOPI is taking pre-orders for them right now. I called HP a couple days ago and a release date of the headers has not yet been set. I was going to try these but it would elminate my only cat so I'm going to make my own shorty header and if it works out I may produce more of them.
Every inspection I have had done here even at the "good Ole Boy shop" look under the car to check the cat everytime NC is totally barcoded now and it all has to be entered in the state computer at least in A-ville it does. Trust me I've tried it on my old del sol and I couldnt'get away with it and it was pretty quite.
NC has become a leach for performance people. I just need to move to SC where there are no inspection adn you could runa open header if you wanted with no cat and every Emissions thing off the car. But no I have to live in good ole NC....... oh well....I might try the HP header and get a cat from a 01+ protege adn bolt it on along wiht the bosal catback I mean it couldn't hurt me any and I would stay legal since it would be OEM cats.
I don't know... I heard that the Bosal is loud. The louder u are the more they will want to look under the car. I m getting the Thermal and putting it on my car cause it's not as loud as some of the other exhaust but it also sounds better than the other exhaust at the same time. That way when I go for inspection they won't get curious to see if one is under there.... but that's my 2 cents
Also from what I read on here one day HP doesn't even make that header yet. Nopi is just filling request orders or something like that. Now I did talk to one guy that said u can put a Bosal header made for a Ford Probe, and MX6 on our car. I did some checking around and it is legit we all share the same motor. But if u go with the Bosal u have to drill into the end of the header to make another 02 sensor which is no big deal at all. If I were u I would jump for the Bosal than the HP. That's what I'm doing as soon as I get up enough money I'm going with the Bosal
hey, ch, when did NC go with all those emissions rules....hell, i remember not too long ago NC didn't even have inspections really. everyone from up here want NC plates so they could do what they wanted to there vehicles...if it's gotten as bad as you say then VA can't be too far behind
