Hows it goin? i just wanted to say whats up and see how the mazda community is. my buddy has a 06 Mazdaspeed6 and i love it. he has a full CPE tbe, CPE cai, and a hks ssqv. i currently own a SRT-4. i will be on here asking some questions about my buddies car since i do all the work on it. lol

everyone with the turbo back exhaust, how did you react when you saw clouds of smoke at idle after the install?

well, the reason i say so is because when we put the tbe on it started smoking and continued to smoke. we got a little worried, then contacted CPE and they said it was normal. (dunno)

1badsrt, what you running on the 1/4mile with that?

The reason smoke is comming out of your buddy's exhaust is because of the turbo seals are not sealing properly and are creating too much vacumm allowing the oil to leak. See if they can fix that at the dealer....I think a new turbo replacement if needed though.

By the way before this turns into a flame war....since i drive a s2000 now. I still have plenty of love for Mazdas. I'm just saying the same can be said for Mazdas. Hell I was at the dealer today trying to talk my mom into buying a CX-7 or perhaps a 5.

how did i react when i saw the clouds of smoke?? I took off the exhaust and tried to return it, the company wouldnt accept so i put the exhaust up for sale on the forum and bought an atp turbo kit. I needed a new turbo either way cuz the stock is a POS...nice srt

yes it is a neon, the body is a flexing pos. but thats not why i bought it. its not the best car under the sun, but it sure is fast as hell with very little $$$
i came on this site to gain more info on my buddies MS6. i love his car and it has a awsome powerplant. we are waiting for cpe to send him his front mount kit.

and as for 1/4 times, i am not sure, just installed the stage 3r this week, so i am gonna wait a month or so to break the turbo in then go to Famoso raceway.
