Just a little tidbit from my cars 2 weeks in the shop...Mazda seems to have deemed my warranty "invalid." Yes, you read that right, Mazda has made my warranty totally useless. Their reasoning? I complain too much about the same problems that they can't fix BECAUSE the dealer doesn't listen to me. I tell them to drive the car after it has been sitting in the sun for a day around 3pm and take it about 4 miles and park it them smell the brakes for a burning smell...what do they do? Drive it at 10am when it's 60 degrees out up hteir driveway. That's not what I told them so OF COURSE they're not going to find anything wrong with the brakes. Then my asshole district service manager told my 3rd dealer that he found nothing wrong although he wasn't driving with me for more than a mile at 9AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (flame):mad::mad:(fu)(yupnope):argh:So I'm obviously pissed and ranting but really...Mazda has voided my warranty for any current problems and they expect ME to pay them for warranty work. (rlaugh)(rlaugh)
Just informing, Mazda does do this.

(rant)(argh) Rant off.

Oak Tree Mazda in San Jose, California.
But its been to Hayward Mazda (Hayward, CA now out of business)
Diablo Mazda (Walnut Creek, CA)

Basically parts that are now "invalid warranty" are the engine, rear brakes, doors, seat belt buckles, the hatch, etc...

so your issues happen relative to the time of day?

really? thats the argument your making with them?

YES! Temperature affects this car more than it should. When it's hotter out the brakes fail to cool and retain their heat longer so they burn more on hot days than cold ones. Same with the transmission, it acts up more when it's hot out then when it's cold.
