hi..
i know this might not be the right section, but i already sent a pm to one of the moderators.
anyways. i started the thread to share with all the members what i have done to mounth the reservior coolant tank or in other words the overflow tank for the coolant.
i bought a injen CAI from one of the members and he lost the relocation brackets so, what i did was just reposition the stock bracket so the CAI would have room to go into the wheel well . without doing this it would be impossible to install the CAI ... its pretty self explanatory once you see the pic.
all you have to do is unbolt it. then angle it perpendicular or parallel to the injen CAI.
making sure to tuck it under the silver tubing coming from the receiver/dryer
canister. be careful not to lift it to hard and bend the tubing.
it will also have to go under the headlights. there is enough gap there that you wont be pinching any wires. just double check that you arent hitting or pinching any wires. please
i assume no responsibility if anything goes wrong.
after you have done this just bolt it on .. i dont have to explain where.
the pic shows you very clearly . the left bolt is just there its not really bolted on to the frame i just didnt wanna loose the second bolt so i just hand tighten it. so if i go stock if i go stock again . i know where it is.
so then . the last part is making sure to get the hose coming from the overflow tank out of the way of the radiator fan. all i did was had it sit on top of the radiator hose and tucked it under the raditor hose..
then thats it you are done.
you can chose to reuse your stock brackets or go with the relocation brackets that came in he injen package. i personally dont know how or what it looks like. and i just got lucky that the stock bracket works.
from my opinion i think its better for it is the original and its the same height specification . now i am not sure if it matters how low or how high you mount the tank ,but i assume gravity comes into play.
anyways ,that is the simple how to on remounting overflow tank if you dont have the relocation bracket that came with the packaging.
hope that i helped you guys even atleast a lil bit
