How to get alarm remote?

I bought a 99 protege that had an aftermarket clifford alarm. It has the blinking red light on the dash. However the previous owner lost the remote. I have no idea what model the alarm is nor do I have no idea where it is located.

How would I go about getting another remote for the alarm?

lookup clifford alarms on the internet and see what you can dig up, thats my only suggestion

Could anybody tell me where I would start looking for the main module for the alarm? What might it look like? Hopefully it will have a model number for me to look up.

Yes, it'll have a model number on either a sticker or embossed.

it'll most likely be mounted under the dash on the drivers side. Look for obvious colored wires that don't look like they belong (unless it was a true pro install, then it may not be so easy to tell the wire looms apart.)

Thanks for the help.

I looked under the drivers side footwell and couldn't find any black boxes other than the DRL module and the clifford imobilizer module. It didn't have any model numbers and was only about 1" cubed in size. I'm gonna keep looking 2morrow for the brain when I have more time and sunlight.
