It's a surface mount LED soldered to the cluster PCB. Not a simple unplug.
Thanks for pointing this out. For months I've been telling myself to get in there and pull the bulb. You just saved me a lot of trouble.
Mine comes on every time I drive for about 20 minutes. I know I should take it to the dealer and ask them to fix it, but I'm reluctant to leave it there and have them tell one of there lot boys to take the car out and drive it around until the light comes one. Last time they had to take it down the road to their other shop and they had a guy drive it that couldn't find reverse. After 3 tries the serivce advisor went over and showed him how to shift it then let him drive away in it anyway. Makes me reluctant to leave the car there all day, so I just put up with the light.
