how to change 2015 touring cx-5 head unit background pitcture

I really want to change my 2015 cx5 touring head unit background picture, does anyone know how to do that? I look over the setting but I did not see anything about it.

There are other threads here about this, but you pretty much have to hack the infotainment system to change picture, but with the hack you can do all kinds of other cool stuff:

Scroll down to see all the changes you can make, or not make if you choose, like getting rid of the warning screen at startup.
It is also completely reversible if you don't like it.

That only applies to the 2016+ units. 2015 uses an older model that is far less hackable.

You can tweak the Mazda entertainment system with a clean USB stick and a couple quick edits to a Linux script (not restricted to '16s). Go here to get all the instructions:

I change my background image almost monthly. Takes about a minute.

Unfortunately the '13-'15s with the NB1 unit aren't that open.

Not much new but this pretty much shows images are embedded in firmware and can't be changed.

Although this 21 page forum looks interesting... some talk of using Android map data on the NB1.
