How To: Celica Style Bumper Lenses (P5)

damn, im not even subscribed to this thread but its still sendin me emails whenever someone post in it. i had to check it out. i installed mine w/ weather stripping instead of the door protection trim, and water started getting in them a couple months ago (after over 5 years of having them installed).

I've got a question... Does anyone know if there are any other aftermarket clear markers we could use besides the celica ones? Just curious before i go ahead and get my set. Oh and any oppinion on blacked out ones? i found a set on ebay for the '00-'03 celica that looks pretty decient. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-03-04-05-TOYOTA-CELICA-JDM-SIDE-MARKER-BUMPER-LIGHTS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZ65Q3a12Q7c66Q3a2Q7c39Q3a1Q7c72Q3a1205Q7c240Q3a1318Q7c301Q3a1Q7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhashZitem5632e0c283QQitemZ370220778115QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories

try em and let us know.

ive seen rx-7 clear markers used as well... i was thinking of going that route.

alright, anybody able to get me this door trim? Hit up all 5 auto parts stores around me and they only have the 3 foot long trim that comes in a straight box.

Nothing flexible....

edit, forgot to check walmart as i reread the OP.....

probably. i was looking to do this for my p5 but never got around to it.

i was looking at the smoked lenses as well, to make them a little more subtle.

Is anybody interested in my already assembled lenses? They are celica sidemarkers, smoked black and then clear coated and polished. I already attached the molding and also bought all of the installation parts (washers and wingnuts). I'll even include the LED Amber bulbs I picked up.

I ended up smoking my stock side markers as well just to see which I'd like more and I prefer my stock lights. So my labor is being given to you for the price of the parts. ;)

Now just so you know these aren't PERFECT but I think I did pretty darn good on them. Lemme know if you are interested. Like I said I'm just trying to recoup my costs which comes out to about $50.

I'll post pictures if anyone shows an interest. Or heck maybe I'll do it anyway tomorrow. We'll see. Thanks!
