Can anyone tell me specifics on how to burn MP3/AAC CDs for the stereo? I've tried ISO,Joliet and UDF formats and consistently have problems with not all folders/files appearing (although they are visible on a PC). Please let me know which formats are supported and if there are any limitations on folder name length, file name length, etc. I am doing this because of the crappy USB resume problem - at least CDs seem to resume. I've been trying to burn both MP3s and AACs to discs using both MediaMonkey and Nero. Thanks in advance.

I burn MP3s using standard Win7 drag/drop method, but make sure to check box for data not music. The folders show up on the CX-5 screen and will play through folder to folder, but shuffle keeps in one directory ... a flaw IMO ... forces you to record all songs with no directory, or put them in one directory if you want shuffle. I've never had a consistency playback problem using Win7 to record. You may have to convert AAC to MP3 though.

After several discs, I figured out that the head unit is very picky about the VBR AACs that MediaMonkey encodes while burning discs from my lossless ALAC library. They are not appearing as valid music files on the head unit. If I encode to only MP3 (VBR 192 kbps) all the music appears to be there.
