how strong is our crank!

cuz i know once u run into more boost and what not u need a stronger crank. anyone know where to get one and how much it would be cuz im gonna start ordering the rebuild kit come oct when it gets cold here and starts to snow rebuild it all during winter and then come spring have it done but how much would they be too well any info please post thanx alot! our crank is forged... it can take some serious punishment....

I wouldn't worry unless you are running high horespower AND start to detonate

Yes, the crank isn't something you need to worry about right now. But I can't wait until someone makes it a problem.

would having our stock crank balanced and knife edged give any decent gains or is it something that should not need to be touched unless pushing 20 + psi boost? I have a friend who says he can do it for me at his work (machine shop) but i dont know if it is worth looking into yet.
