How much $ for Haltech E6X

:
2006 Evo MR
What should I pay for a new Haltech E6X and do they have to be specially programmed to run on our cars. The reason I am asking is because I want to know if I should purchase this from Hiboost or get it from another source.

from hiboost it comes with a premade harness, premapped ecu, etc.. so it's probably better idea to go with them, and i believe the price is 1400 or around that?

Sure it does. You might have to do some modification but I don't know how much different the HIboost flying lead harness is, it was similar to the picture in the tweakit.net website.

wiring isnt bad if you are only running the haltech for fuel/timing. only like 12 wires or so.

It better have been Protege specific because it came with my Hiboost turbo kit!! But as you can tell, there isn't much difference from the flying lead and the Protege. I think Juan measures the wires out and cuts them accordingly to make it Protege specific. Maybe he'll chime on here and say.

You can also call Chris @ SPD and see what they can work out for you on the Haltech.

ahh so the only thing needed really is the map sensor? seemed to include everything else, cept the boost controller on the haltech which i wouldnt use anyhow..
