How much does the MP3 weigh? Here's what I found.

The number I got off MSN autos for the MP3 are:
Auto=2687 lbs
Manual=2725 lbs
The auto is less? That's strange, manual is ussually lighter. Still either way the MP3 still has a slightly better power to weight ratio than the ES. And much better suspension. Just thought I'd share this little piece of info. I guess that body kit and sound system add a couple of pounds compared to the ES but still.

Well, MSN autos is wrong. There is no such thing as an MP3 with an automatic transmission. Just goes to show, you can't believe anything you read on the intraw3b.

Only Cruise. That's why it seems like a big difference. Anyway, I thought the MP3 had Cruise Control, too.

And the p5 is NOT 3600lbs.

I don't know where you heard that the MP5 is 3600 pounds but that's WAAAAY off. It's actually 9 lbs LIGHTER than the MP3. That 3600 you read/heard is probably the gross vehicle weight, which is how much that car is "allowed" to weigh with passangers and cargo, etc.
