Not in NJ...you need at least 2, maybe 3 depending on whether or not you get any other violations at the same time.celdridge said:

Depends on the judge i guess ... driving over 45MPH over the speed limit by law is considered wreckless endangerment with a motor vehicle and is punishable by up to 60 days in jail and suspension of license for 6 months. I have never known a judge who would not just take you license and say have a nice day... your a lucky man.
I got clocked doing 127 in a 45 in my civic si. the funny thing about the whole thing i never knew the cop was there so he tried to run me off the road so when i stopped i got up in his face which resulted in him patting me down and feeling my balls then throwing me in the cop car for over a hour while he talked to some underage kid that tried to keep up with me in his mommy's z24 convertable cavalier (didnt even know he was there). because of him i almost got a street racing ticket. i had to reason with the cop about it: "look man, ive been to the track several times, i know how to race my car. youve seen me running around here before and you know i know how to drive my car yes? (he said yes.) now honestly if i was really racing him i would have gone a burnout off the line right? (yes.) did i do that? (no.) then i wasnt street racing was i? besides, its a cavalier." guy laughed and gave me a ticket for 75 in a 45 and told me if i contest it hed get me for street racing and the original 127 in a 45. i almost got ****** big time. being patted down and having some other guy feel my balls from behind isnt very pleasant so suffice it to say i dont drive fast on that stretch of road on friday nights anymore.

got three tickets the first two because i was driving with more cars and the cops pulled me over thinking that i was racing so one for unlawful change line and the other one for tint windows . the third one was speeding in the highway at 88 the speed limit was 65 so im **** up. 3 in two months that sucks.

I dont know where you live ... but in columbus we have that gay law too ... i just carry my front license plate with me under my seat and throw it in the front window if i get pulled over. Here you dont legally have to display it on the front of your car .. the window is fine.

Only the one ticket in the orange, pulled over 9 times for various questioning though...could be the fedora... (uhm)
got 2 the middle of last year in my old volvo, and then one this year in my speed, am going to court to fight my second one in the speed next month. The first tickets were only like a 75 in a 65, and this last one (not charged with) was 91 in a 70. Wish me luck in court.
