Hey guys i'm sure this is probably the most idiotic question, but i was wondering how many catalytic converters there are in a 2009 Mz3 2.3L. I am looking to get new exhaust and i am wondering if the section (football shaped) under the passenger seat where it bolts on is a secondary cat or a resonator. I just want to know if i will be able to install the exhaust myself or i will need to take it to a shop so they can customize the new exhaust to keep the second cat (if there is one). I have been getting the impression from many forum conversations that there is a second cat located along the exhaust system... I was curious if that is just certain models they were talking about of if that holds true with my MZ3 as well. I could really use some helpful info on that! Thanks guys!
