a fmic and seats would be nice, but how about an ECU that doesn't suck teh donkey nuts..
I personally don't think that I should have to pay extra for that, but would be willing to pay for true improvements. I guess then again, 250 hp would come hand and hand with a better ECU. I think the world learned that people will pay $32k for a high performance econobox when the Evo and STi came out. I'm sure the same would hold true with a higher performance Protege especially when the interior is leagues beyond the Ion and Neon.

murdock- mechanic owned..lol.
What does that mean? The only thing it means to me is you know how to beat the crap out of a car.

I plan on keeping the mazda 'till the warrenty is gone.....unless I get it into the 12's then maybe I'll keep it.

This is a question for people who keep cars a long time. How long have you owned a car? And at what point do you decide it is no longer economical to own? Is a major breakdown the end, or does it just become unreliable? I plan to keep my pro as a daily driver as long as I possibly can. I was planning to do the same with my old car but so much stuff broke on it I just couldn't stand the hassle of repairing it anymore.

i'm either getting rid of it in a year when i graduate and getting something better or just using it as my daily driver and getting a good project car
