I got 10K miles on mine and the way its looking the fronts wont last too long... Ive been so used to driving unidirectional front diff. size from rear that Ive forgotten there is such a thing as rotating tires....

How long do you expect your tires to last and how often are you rotating them (I forgot if we can even rotate them hence my rotate question)

I've got just over 30,000 on the stockers now, rotated twice now and they are pretty much shot. Lots of highway driving though, otherwise they'd of been dead by 15k easily

i am looking at 10k-15k. i'm just over 5k right now after my first rotation, and it looks like i will be about ready to swap out after another rotation. i don't really want to run these treads lower then 4/32", since that means i would get really crappy wet traction for a while.

I had about 12-13k on mine and they have over half left. Regular rotation and not a whole lot of jackassery.

Im at 10k just did second rotate, I expect to make it too at least 20k but as stated I will have horrid traction during the last leg.

I have 17 K on mine and I still have 85% tread left. I guess I drive like a grandpa or something.

holy s***... this is pathetic!! I have over 50k miles on my stock MSP tires (rotated every 5k, never burned rubber, driven relatively aggressively)

I figured these tires would last about the same... arent' they basically the same??? 10-15k miles??? that't jut pathetic. not even a year's worth of driving. i'm thinking about buying this car and... that's almost a dealbreaker

the stock potenzas are really soft and wont last long if you get on it. i drive aggressive and i have about 1/3 left on the tires with just under 11k, my first stick shfit car i practiced alot of launches and fast shifting which led to spinning the tires alot. 20k shouldnt be hard as long as you dont have testacles

Changed the tires right at 25k. The brigedsstones were great but treadwear at 140 is horrible but anticipated for a high performance tire.

Ridn on some POS Dunlaps from the dealer (free tire program ftw)....

at 8000 miles and did a rotation at 6500 miles. the original fronts (now rears) are pretty much shot.

fronts are probably at 1/2 left. i'm shooting for 15000 miles.

What about tire noise? I heard they become unbearable once they passed 15K miles mark. Also, anyone has experience with those OEM tires in winter/snow condition?

Ha!! I might as well have been on skis last winter. Getting some snow tires this winter and when the stock tires need changing, will probably go with all seasons. I don't see a need for $200 summer performance tires when they only last 1-2 years. It's not like I get paid for beating people off the line.

my friend has potenza summer tires on his BMW 330ci, and the first year he had it, he didn't get his snow tires on in time for the first snow storm. it nearly landed him in a ditch because he was skidding around all over the place...RWD + summer tires in the snow = GG!

I have 4500 miles on the stock Potenzas. Needless to say, I am not impressed. They are already half way worn. I am in the market for new tires that not only last longer but perform better than the Potenzas.

My Speed3 came with "tires for life" which was a surprise to me considered I do about 15K miles per year. I asked the dealer whether they would refit my car with the OEM tires and they said they would. They wrote down the serial no. on the contract and there is no clause to limit my mileage quota. I am still skeptical but we will see.

I am still debating whether to get a set of snow tires for the winter or beg the dealer to replace the OEMs with a set of Pirelli Nero M&S all season. I guess I will find out after the first snow.

That's a sweet deal! If I were you, ask if it covers any tire and maybe get some all seasons that are equivalent to the stock summer tire specs. Sure you will be sacrificing some summer performance, but will make up for it in the snow and in cold weather. My tires seem to be holding up pretty well, but only have like 5000 miles so far. If I needed new tires, I might try all seasons first, but with the power this car has, I think the labor to switch em out 2x/year will be worth it with dedicated snow tires. I'm hoping for at least 3-4 seasons (years) with the stock tires.
