How is MAzda Community in Hampton roads?

Hi my name is Tim. I'm in the navy as an instructor at Great Lakes. In June me and the old lady and the Mazda are transfering to Little Creek Naval Base. I bought my P5 when i moved up here in 2004. I'm planning on getting a MS3 whent he P5 is paid off. Looking forward to hanging out with people!

Thanks man. I wanted to get more involved with Mazdateam but I ended up spending more time with the old lady, and she isn't in to cars that much.
I've wanted to mod my P5 since i got it june 2003, but the amount of money i would have to spend to bring it to the level of an MS3 didn't make since to me.

Dude, mazdateam is all about hanging out regardless. I bring the g/f all the time and other locals bring the g/f's and wives, as well. Seriously you and the wifey should swing by to a meet next time. (first)

There are a few guys floating around that like to set up meets (they're been a few threads). A lot of them go to the VaDrag meets or whatever they're called - not just Mazdas but pretty much every type of car. AFAIK, there have only been like two or three "all-Mazda" meets and I've only been to one of them because I'm in school in Blacksburg for 9 months out of the year. But yeah, I definitely think we should try to get more people together more often - I'd be up for some meets in late Dec/early Jan.

The people are here it's just getting people to commit to show thats the problem. The meets are starting to get better but still not to consistant.
