How important were looks of MZ3?

OK, there was competition in the car market when you bought the MAZDA3.
The Scion TC, Toyota Matrix, VW Golf, Honda Civic are some that might have been in your list. Some might have had better performance and reliability, but in my opinion MAZDA3 LOOKED THE BEST OF ALL!
HOW IMPORTANT WERE 'LOOKS' IN YOUR BUYING DECISION?(uhm)

i had seriously considered the matrix but the price for the awd model was so much more then the price of the 3 that it turned me off, as well as the looks weren't as good. i would have overlooked the looks if the price was closer on the awd model.

I actually dislike the look of the Mazda 3 when i first saw on it, But over the course of 2 years, the look really grew on me.

I wasn't a fan of Hatches so the 5-door MZ3 didn't appeal to me, but the sedan totally took my eye. This of course was after I found out it was running the 2.3L Duratec.

Well, I havent bought mine yet, but plan on it next week. ITs been between scion tc,and mazda 3. mazda got a good look to it for a 4/5 door vehicle. scion does have the looks over mazda,but I think mazda has its advantages over it..
At first I didnt like the 5doors,but now I kindof like them. Local dealers got a 5/door 2.3 in black so hopefullynext week I will beable to test drive it,and hopfully work a deal..Though its hard to work a deal when the supply and demand is not in ur favor..

I actually almost bought a VW GLI but the price was the kicker for me. I had the money but couldn't justify the price. The new VW are definately not the best looking cars but the 2.0t and DSG are the s***. The DSG in particular is a GREAT transmission. I like the look of the 3, but the performance and interior quality are more important to me because those are the two biggest things that affect me directly.
