How do you replace MP5's tail lights?

Does anyone know how to remove and replace the tail lights of the MP5?

to make it easy, just take the back placcy thingies out the nuts are right there. not hard to do one little bit

Thanks all for the instructions, including comments! I crash into a pole and my tail lights was busted. I don't want to pay any money for people to do it if I can manage it myself. Therefore, I am asking for instructions. In terms of which light to get, that will depends on the price, value, and other factors. Myself, I think the Altezzas are fine. Just like the carbon fiber, some ppl like it, some ppl don't. ALso, it depends on how you present it and match it to the rest of the stuff. Carbon fiber might look gay, but if black lether seats and other interior color, it could look interesting.

yeah i'll have a bit of a dig around and see what sorta prices i can get jdm tails for...and you yanks would certainly have it good considering how good our dollar is (damn you!!!!)

i wont be able to do anything until thursday next week (work is killing me at the moment), but i'm having thursday and friday off next week, so i'll have a chat to the mazda dealer (just incase) and have a chat to a few mazda specalist wreckers and see if they have any or can get any

you never know, you guys might get lucky

remove the three plastic inserts on each side..............the bolts are right behind them. there are 3 bolts on each side...............once you remove the nuts from the bolts, pull on the tail lamp till it pops out.....it may take a hard tug because they are held in place by 1 plastic plug on each side........it is very simple.

they look just like the protege sedan taillights. red with a whit stripe in the middle........except fo the p5................

and hold on those who might be interested in getting jdm tails, i've got a guy checking through his database thingie whatever...should be getting back to me soon with a price for you all...as soon as i know, you'll all know....

and lucky you guys...shipping from australia to america (and canada) is WAY WAY WAY cheaper than the other way around.
