How do you remove the amber on the headlight?

I just purchased a headlight from avarela86, which I must say was an awesome deal and great condition light!, and my original light had the corner amber removed. I purchased the car like this and didn't know how I can do this with the OEM one I just got. Anyone have any idea? I heard the oven method but not sure if there is an easier way.

I believe you have to bake the light so that you can open it. remove the amber piece and re seal the light.

yep bake em. i just did that mod like 3 weeks ago. its not too hard but i had to bake them at a higher temp than what was recomended. and the glue is uber sticky. i was able to heat them up, pry them open, pop out the amber and stick it back together. but i got glue on the headlight lens and it does NOT clean off easily. i tried extreme goo gone that just seemed to make it worse. so i wet sanded them down and used meguires plastx. still not the prettiest but looks better without the amber lens. i think im gonna buy a headlight restorer kit real soon to see if that helps.
