How Do You Lock The Hatch When You Don't Have A Battery?

This may be a stupid question. However, if there is no battery hooked up to the car, how do you lock the hatch? I have a couple grand worth of stereo stuff back there and I would absolutely love for it to be there tomorrow morning. And it's far too much of a PITA to remove it all. And for those who are wondering why I don't have a battery in the car....I am putting the car back to stock to take it to the dealership for my smoking turbo and I ran out of daylight. So, I will continue it tomorrow.

So.. you cant hook the battery back up just long to lock everything back up, disconnect it, and lock the driverside door with a key so all doors are locked?

I thought about that. But I have an aftermarket Viper alarm. Wouldn't that **** it up pr spmething?

you can hook it up and press the lock button on the door. Not arm the alarm but merly locking it.

Mazda should have made a switch in the hatch that would lock it. Just in case...
