How can I repair a rubber boot cover

Anyone have any tips for repairing pinholes in the rubber boot cover on the front bottom ball joints?

In my zeal to extract the spindle assembly out of my car a stray hammer swing caused a puncture in the boot cover on the ball joint.

I would like to avoid replacing the control arm and ball joint.

Are we talking about the CV boot?

I've never heard of a way to repair it, only to replace... Im interested to find out too.

No not the CV boot.

The Ball joint that is attached to the control arm, They are all one piece.. I had to buy the whole damn control arm at 109.00 from the dealership

It looks something like this (this is not the mazda ball joint just an example of a similar ball joint.)
