none. i as well as most the guys i know only buy stuff online or from each other. most "speed shops" cater to ricers and civics, not proteges. i wouldn't recomend them for anything unless your doing custom bodywork or exhaust. but thats my $.02. anyways i think me and monkey are the only houston guys that come on the mp3 boards.........post this up in the texas section. http://www.msprotege.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=105
yea...architect is right. i find its only us that post on here from houston. but he's right only if you are doing some bodywork, sound, or exhaust...you won't find anything in houston. just order your stuff online.
sorry to thread jack...hey james have you heard of prodrag off of 6 and beachnut? i talked to a friend and he's had some work done there and they did a good job. i don't know i'm trying to find a place to do some motor work (turbo install) for the mp3...yes it's gonna happen; 5 months or less.
help with turbo install equals maurice. his username is discreetspeed on the boards here. he should be going to teaworks saturday. like i said, i dont know any proteges here who take thier cars anywhere for anything. everyone pretty much does the work themselves or other pitch in to help. im sure you could get a few of us to help install it. if anything else........and if you have time......we can always go crash up in dallas. those guys just did i think 2 turbo installs last month. i really couldn't recommend any shops cuz i plain dont trust anyone in the car business.
id stay away from prodrag. they ****** up mofoaka turbo install. the dudes didnt know s***. the only guy that seemed to listen to what i was saying was the owner and he didnt do much. that was some time last year though. things could have changed.IDK.
