Been really driving me crazy lately. When locking with the key fob normally the horn will honk with the second press of the button all yesterday and this morn it quit honking now this afternoon it started working again. I googled it with no luck. ?

Did you double check to make sure that every door was completely closed including the lift gate? Once time I wasn't able to make it chirp and was getting frustrated until I realized the rear-liftgate wasn't closed all the way even though it looked like it was.

Note also that the lack of chirp is a security feature-- the car is telling you that it isn't actually locked, since something isn't closed properly.

I did check all doors but didn't check the lift gate although I drove it around and didn't here it rattling and there wasn't a door ajar light on ?

When I thought mine was closed when it actually wasn't there wasn't any kind of rattle, and I think the only door ajar notification is the one where the information center is.

Now, I may be mistaken, but if a door/hatch isn't closed correctly and then the lock/unlock on fob is pushed, shouldn't the car beep madly at you several times indicating a door isn't closed?

It was the lift gate. Thanks a lot guys. It was driving me crazy. Oddly tho there was no door ajar light and no wind or rattle could be herd.
