Home made boost controller

here are the pics of my boost controller i built today and it works VERY well and only cost about 20 bucks! I did it this way to keep cost down till my new turbo and stuff come in.I purchased all the stuff at my local home depot. most of the stuff is Campbell Hausfeld and can be found in the air compressor section. you will need.. part #s MP10042( 1/4" NPT air ajusting valve with guage) part #PA1040(1/4"tee fitting female) part #MP3206(1/4" hose ends) and then in the "brass piping" section you will need WATTS part #A-710 (1/8" square head plug) this replaces the gauge that is on the other piece and also 4 1/4 hose clamps. then go to your local auto parts dealer and pick up about 4 ft of vacuum line.

take the guage off and replace it with the plug and put the hose ends on it too looks like this....

get the vacuum hose and hose clamp it to the waste-gate run it up AWAY from the oil lines ( see my other post about this) up to where the BOV area is. this will give you access to adjust the boost this pics really suck ill take some tomorrow during the day so you can actually see it . sorry for being ignorant here, but i'm a bit confused. so how does it actually work? is it going before the wastegate, basically bypassing it until it's max psi is reached and then it sends the rest to the wastegate? can you be precise in adjustment?

got a diagram?

i think i need to visit the library or something. know of any good resources i should check out?

works pretty well it basically creates a " leak" and bleeds off the line so the wastegate stays closed longer
