I had the Vibrant Exhaust put on my car this morning, (yes I am a lazy bastard), but for $100.00 why do it myself and have to fight the bolts and hacksaw off the old exhaust, and get all dirty..lol? Anyway this thing is amazing.

I drove it first with the silencer in and it was really not much different for the stock exhaust,(its the Truth!) I was like wow this isnt loud at all. Before the Vibrant I was around 6-6.5 psi. Now I am right on 7psi. Thing looked HUGE when I got it but it doesnt look that big now that its on the car.

Took the Silencer out and its still not all that loud, not sure if i will keep it out or put it back in. It has a Deep rumble not some fart can, bumble bee sounding bulls*** that I hate.

Fits like a glove, no rattles, bangs or squeaks. Adds more Zoom to my Zoom Zoom!

That's a very nice looking exhaust and it fits perfect, not too long of a tip like my ion exhaust.

Sam will treat you right!

is the muffle angled at all? I'm getting rid of my jic exhaust and am looking at the vibrant but i want and angled muffler

Is the Vibrant 3" all the way back? I`m guessing it`s not including an S-pipe cause they woulda charged you a lot more than $100 to put it all on. If it`s S-pipe back, you shoulda done it, it`s easy. If it`s 2.5" piping or so, maybe you sould think about the CorkSport 2.4" S-pipe. But, I wouldn`t suggest trying to swap out the S-pipe yourself.

Looks like it fits a hell of a lot better than the thermal R&D that i got...

hmm, i don't have a muffler at all...it drones just a little bit, and is not really all that loud....i hold boost at 8 PSI....and the set up was 10 bucks,,,,

i like that exhaust a lot.
Same thing happened to me because i didn't take the silencer outa the rsr muffler and all i could hear was the turbo pssss! I took out the silencer and back to business...i've never heard a vibrant in but everyone says it sounds great

yes it sounds great But I ended up putting the Silencer back in.. I like a quieter sound..DOnt get me wrong it still sounds very nice,j ust not a higher pitch with the Silencer out..

Angled ? I dont know what you mean by that it sits straight like you see in the pics.

Its a 3 inch pip all the way to the (correct me if I am wrong people) J pipe? The pipe that conects to the turbo. I could have dont it but I dont have a lift or very good cutting tools. Nor did I hav a an air wrench. I think $100.00 is fair since they re-routed my O2 sensor, Disposed of my old exhaust. Ground down the bolts and everything else.

yea its angled and it goes w/the rear bumper just right....i love mine cept it touches the bumper

I knew you all know more about it than me ..Thanks! Mine doesnt touch at all for some reason. I guess each car is different.

No one has ever reported melting problems. I would be the first.

What other benefits have you noticed, did it make the turbo spool faster? how long did it take to install? what about rerouting your o2 sensor?

thx

Took the guy who installed it about 1 1/2 hours.
Thats cutting off the old exhaust and doing everything in between. The turbo does spool a lot faster, hell seems like I just step on the gas and the turbo is firing up.. But thats probably because of my other supporting mods combined. CustomMSP SMIC,CAI Etc.

ON re-routing my O2 sensor I told the installer how to do it and he did it. I didn't get to watch anything because he was in the shop..I pretty much told him everything. About grinding the front bolts, putting in the bung, etc. It would have taken me 4-5 hours to do what he did, because I dont have the tools.

A few more pics

Whoo hoo, he got it installed! How 'bout that spool time now? I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that prefers the Vibrant with the silencer. Every once in a while I'll take it out for a day or so, but then it goes back in.

You should be right about where I'm at on power output as we have essentially the same mods. Search the dyno sheets section for my username and you'll find the sheets. 169 whp, can't remember tq.
