Hks "type" Ssqv Bov ???????

hey,

I see these auctions on eBay and also the vendor cxracing.com selling a HKS "type" SSQV bov. Is this a chinese knock-off or what?

yes dont use it, a few friends and i said screw it one day and ordered two of the hks "type" and greddy type s "type" all 4 were from different sellers. cost about 150 shipped for all lol. in short one of the type s broke in a week, the inner diaphragm s*** the bed. 2 weeks later the other followed. its like $60 or 70 from greddy to get a new diaphragm and their still weak. seller wouldn't warranty the part he said i was overboosting lol. 15psi isn't overboosting but i didnt care at all. hks's both just started to stick on me and wouldnt open within 3 weeks. so all in all ebay chineses knock offs and ill tell you that from my own research, not what i've heard. oh yeah and neither of them sound like the counterpart they copy. kind of just whooshey crap. save up and buy a true piece.

Don't buy knock-off turbo parts. EVER. If it's a turbo related part, and it seems to good to be true, it's because it is.

Cost is high on high quality turbo parts. If you see something that you think contradicts this, it's because it's not a quality part. Save your money, save up for the real thing, or buy one used.
