Can you please let me know what all I need to install?

1. BOV unit itself ($200.00??)
2. plate
3. Flange --> is this the same as the plate? ($30 - $50??)
4. what else???

Thank you....

You just need to go here and buy the kit from CP-E. It's everyhting you need

you should also get some snap ring pliers if you dont already have them, make it a whole lot easier

Nice video, perfect for those who want to know what the sound will be like!

+Rep...if that still worked ;)

hmmm, I thought i could do without one.......but after hearing that, ill have to add the SSQV to the list of things to buy(eventually)

Exactly my thoughts! Damn it...I was supposed to not spend money modding this car!

I don't know a whole lot about BOV's...can you tell me if that is recirculating? If so, now can I tell from the pic?

Thanks,
Ryan

Nope, you would see the a hose attached to the side facing the firewall

Watch the vid and you can visibly see the air rushing out.

most people will tell you no.

VTA releases metered air and causes the fuel mixture to become even richer then it normally is....blah blah blah.

Case in point: If you are worried about having a loud sounding bov and arent worried about performance loss or rich fuel conditions, then run VTA. If you dont need that loud and just want something thats noticable, but have the car run like stock, go recirc.

Choice is up to you and people will tell you both ways, do what suits your needs better.

Is this the best method? Out to atmosphere?

it depends on what you like, if i run it recic its not going to make your car go any faster, you'll just run a little less rich when you shift.
i need to get my car dynoed again to see how my boost is holding up, many people are saying that it holds till 6200 but i gotta check it myself, ill post pics of the dyno when i get it.

Not sure if this info (Greddy's site) might help, but here it is...

Greddy's Blow Off Valves are easily adjustable to prevent both premature boost leakage and compressor surge. The spring stiffness adjustment screw and the two different sizes give the GReddy user the option to match vehicles with mild upgrades to heavily tuned engines. The Type RS blow off valve is a 40 mm valve and recommended for applications under 450 horsepower. This is a universal blow-off valve, vehicle-specific kits are available for most Japanese cars.
