hks bpv recirc hose won't budge!

well long story short my recirc hose needs to be rotated so that it's straight and my maf sensor stays happy, but when i tried to rotate the side that attaches to the hks it just wouldn't budge. i then tried to just take it off all together, same result. then i took the hks off the car and i still couldn't get the hose off! i feel like a (loser) even asking this question but how can i get it off?

You should try to push it off from the cut end of the hose around the tube. If you pull on the hose it gets smaller. If you push on it, it gets bigger.

Also, try shooting some compressed air between the hose and the tube to try to break the bond that has occured between the hose and the tube. You could try squirting some WD-40 into the crack, but only as a last resort as it will shorten the life of the hose.

I had the same thing happen, the vacuum in your motor combined with the heat sealed it on there. a little WD40 and a flathead screwdriver.....use the screwdriver to pry little gaps between the hks and recirc hose then get wd40 in there, then use the screwdriver to push it off the hks dont pull on it like rotus said it gets tighter.

a flat head screwdriver, a little bit of WD-40, and some patience and it came off. thanks guys
