My brother gave me this bov with the nipple broken i figured the fix would be easy but so far its been hell trying to repair it. tried to jbweld the nipple back on to the bov but it didnt hold well it keeps breaking, so i figured i could drill the rest of the nipple inside the bov out and retap it using a brass fitting. i went to lowes, homedepot, autozone, etc they dont have what i need because all the fittings are huge 3/8' 1/8's etc. any suggestions on what else i could do to fix it? its driving me crazy lol. the bov is a v2 but posted the v3 to give a clear view of what broke off. :D

you could maybe get parts from HKS for that, or off an internet site you could find a fitting to tap that and have it be the correct vac size tubing. Lowes/autozone only has generic s*** you wont find what you need. If I remember correct its a 3/16ths vac line for that fitting, I'd google it and find a fitting to tap in there. Otherwise, new BOV time. Hell, maybe HKS will give you a deal on a new one. How did you break it in the first place?

was broken already when it was given to me, its free so i can't complain lol. i went to this industrial hardware store and found a nipple to nipple connector so i just drilled the hole bigger and used epoxy so far its holding great. ghetto looking yes but it works.

whatever works. As long as it doesnt get hit and your vac at idle is good you are set.

vacs stay around 22-26 when the nipple broke off first they were reading 10-16 which i knew wasn't normal thats when the check engine came on lol. but its holding up great since the previous nipple i tried to attatch wasn't inserted all the way was just the same one with jbweld but with the new one i drilled it out and inserted a new one all the way in so it holds better with no flex. ghetto with the epoxy but idc works well, as long as it functions as it should im good.

I used locktite sleeve retainer which worked really well if you have the original nipple still.
