high flow cat?

The hi-flow replaces one of the cats. It allows for less restriction while still tryin gto keep it legal. Draxas has yet to release the gains form their system, I'm working w/ them now to try and squeeze them for the numbers. I already ordered my system w/ them based on rep., but there's a few systems out there now. Personally I'm between VibrantPerformance & Draxas, they offer the largest piping....but depending on what your doing you can very well benefit from Magnaflow or Borla just the same. Also, Corlsport just announced they have a system, but no info on it yet. Hope this helps.

PS-If you happen to get numbers from Draxas or Corksport let me know, there's another thread on here that me and a few people are working on to sort this out, I think its just called catback exhaust or something similiar.

It will give you a gain over a factory cat if the rest of the vehicle systems are tuned properly (not that there's much for us to tune on these cars). If you do exhaust and intake at the same time, you'll notice the biggest gains.

Your car won't be as loud if you retain a cat... I ran an open exhaust for a very short time (Or rather, one with no cats), and MAN, the car sounded like a dump truck with an exhaust leak. Uugh. Even with one cat, my car is quite obnoxiously loud (To me, others say it sounds great. Bleaugh.) You won't gain any more from having a high flow cat, you might lose a little power (very little), but at least it's scrubbing SOME of the hydrocarbons from the exhaust, so it doesn't smell so much like crap, and won't make people behind you swerve around due to carbon monoxide poisoning. =) Hope this helps!
