High-flow cat brands

Im looking to purchase a high-flow cat and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations, other than stay away from ebay, on a good company that actually "makes" a high flow cat instead of advertising it as one.

Any help would be appreciated especially if you have used them and can give me feedback on how they worked for you.

I have the SLS midpipe with a high flow cat, got it from ken at protegegarage. i love it and im very happy that i bought it. it sounds amazing and in addition to my RB catback and Tsudo header it gives the car a very unique sound without being ricey at all.

That's the sls that is 3 inches, right? I have been thinking about midpipes and am thinking about going the route of the OP and having one made because I want to stick with 2.25 all the way down. I am interested in who makes good hi-flow cats as well.

Yeah I am going to be doing 2.5 from midpipe back so thats why i am trying to find a reputable brand to use since i would have a guy just make me a midpipe for like $30.

I discovered tonight that Magnaflow makes cats...I would go with them. They run around $60 on ebay. I would also consider getting a flex section. I broke the tabs on my stock jpipe, and this would have prevented it and put less stress on the exhaust, whatever your setup.

I'm runnin the 57.00 carsound/magnaflow 2.25 cat with flex fitting on my hi flo midpipe. Been workin great.

my midpipe cost 220 i believe when i bought it but i got it at a special price, this was brand new stainless steel too.

i got magnaflow and am happy with it
