Every now and then I will see a car with brilliant HID lights. I mean really blue. I like that look so my question is what company makes the bluest HID kit?

More like the temperature, 8000K, 10000K. For some reason though, some kits/companies seem to have a more brilliant color.

you can't see too much getting blue h.i.d.s Those are like 10000k but 4300k are actually the brightest but I mean if you'd rather have color than light, go for it. As far as brand, I'm not sure.

apexcone kits are amazing, trust me. google that and you'll find everything you need

have 10000k and yes its hard to see when its rainng but you do get use to it:) and wow they are bright haha... cant remember the compnay name tho... but anyways... ya there bright!!! i'll post up a pic when i can

10,000k might be bright, but 4-5000k is almost twice as bright

Exactly.

Useable light pwns blue

Street signs will still light up at a ridiculous distance, but you won't see anything else with blue/purple.

I went 4300K (pure white) in my car and 4000K (even purer white) in the wife's and couldn't be happier.

I ran what was at one point an 8000K kit on my CBR, and, i can vouch that it DOES make your eyes tired when you're straining to make out what's in the headlights, and it DOES have a serious glare problem with oncoming traffic.

I know i'll get bashed for saying it, cause, well, all HID plug and play kits have glare. Our headlights were not designed for HID's, but do handle em pretty good.

I would stay with useable more OEM looking light than a "LOOK AT ME! I GOT PURPLE HEADLIGHTS!" style

Makes sense. If I would of done a retrofit, I would of gotten oem pure white instead of 6000k. I havn't had an issue with them and I like them but I wouldn't want anything higher. White with a hint of purple, it does me better than halogen :D

And, before anyone says "OEM Projectors are purple! I see it!"

The bulbs are actually 4300K bulbs. The purple you see is from the light passing through the projector lens that makes the cutoff purple. It can be adjusted with swapping lenses to be made deeper purple or even yellow if wanted.

But the purple is only at the cutoff with OEM projectors. Below the cutoff is pure white light

I'll have mine soon! Acura TL's with ZKW lens swap!!! Wewt!!!

Not too bad. Gonna be $550 in total

Chicoloco is actually doing it. I everything off another member who gave up on doing his own retro, so, i bought the parts off him and they are down in Puerto Rico getting finished up.
