Hid in fog lights..

How does everyone install the hid in fogs? The bulbs are to long. Any ideas how to get this. Also I notice as of late my hids are not throwing out far , could it be my bulbs moved in the housings?

most break off or bend the heat shield

do you have to dismantle the light?

If you stick a philips screwdriver into the housing via the bulb socket, you can just push the shield forward. Otherwise, you need some long needle-nose pliers to break it off and pull it out through the same hole.
