has anyone upgraded their stock halogen headlights to the Hid lights yet on a Mazda6?.....if so, what problems can I expect....I just bought a Bohman(German) and am trying to locate a professional installer

You don't need professional installer to do this.
if your kit is just plug and play

I've seen it done so far with the liteswap kit on a decent amount of 6's. Their site has detailed instructions along with pictures.. Looks to take about an afternoons worth of time if you have all the tools.

You have got to be kidding me. You know what tools I used? None! I did this in less than 20 minutes it is as easy as changing a light bulb...oh wait that's pretty much what you are doing. This is all it is.
stock wires to ballast to ignitors(if you get 'em) to bulbs that is it vs stock wires to bulbs in oem vehicle

I don't think he knew what went into installing the HID's in the 6. It is quite simple to do in the Protege5, but not in 6...

Hid Kit

thanks guys for the useful information, and also to Melicha8 for "kidding around" with me, however this is not a dealer option in my region . This is a true $400 Kit that specifically states up front, that if anyone other than a proffessional installs the kit, the warranty would be void...in fact, the installer must fill out the warranty card and send it in with his shops stamp or ID on it ...I dont want to risk me messing it up or blowing the wireing....I'm not doing it, my mechanic friends arent doing it so its not an option.....my question is,...how much should I reasonably pay to have it done?....btw, thanks Mazdaspeed6
