HID bulb vibration question.

I installed the HID bulbs last night and have a question. Is slight vibration safe with these bulbs? I looked at the bulbs closely before i put them in and i noticed that inside the bulb in the middle i didn't see filament like a conventional bulb so to me this would make the bulb more resistant to vibration caused failures. BTW i did use new rubber gloves when installing these and i didn't touch the glass part of the bulb with my fingers or any part of the headlight housing but i did notice that the clip that holds the bulb inside is slightly looser as the bulb is actually the same dimensions as a standard h7 bulb and the supplied adapter did not allow me to clip it in when installed so i only used the bulb itself without any adapters. the standard p5 h7 clip didn't seem to put a lot of pressure on the bulb but after driving i didn't notice a lot of vibration but when i hit some rough pavement they appeared to twitch slightly but they don't look like they have any possibility of falling out of the h7 matched hole in the headlight reflector where the clip holds them in. im brand new to hids and just need some info about this slight vibration. Thanks

HID's and halogen bulbs are two different worlds. This is normal for HID bulbs since it uses gas, and not filaments.

You need to use the adaptors or the bulbs will not stay in place. Sometimes the supplied adaptors need to be shaved down a bit to fit but you need it to be snug.
Or maybe you just have the wrong adaptor. Post a pic and I will tell you if it's the right one. There should be four little plastic studs on the back of the adaptor.

Also, I did not have to use adapters of any kind with my H7 HID blubs. In fact, the stock retaining clip seemed a bit harder to put on VS the standard halogen bulbs.

I was also thinking this today. This past summer i changed my struts to the Tokico blues and my summer tires are 205/40/16 and i oump them up kinda hard so if i hit a pothole my rim will not crack. so maybe cuz of this i notice more of a vibration in the lights and since my stock lights and fogs were the same color temperature i didnt really notice the vibration before. I dont know but I drove through some rough areas today where there was alot of bumpy roads and the lights stayed in. When i was putting them in last night they went in nice into the holes with the little tab matching the indentation in the hole in back of the reflector and the clip did push on the bulb base but not as much as with the stock adapter. I honestly think i will be fine unless maybe my tire will get swallowed by a huge pothole and then maybe i will have a problem. So anyway the xenon bulbs dont have any filaments in them so i guess vibration will not damage them during use? BTW here is the video i made last night and you can see the camera shake cuz of some of the uneven road but the lights seem to be fine. I think im a little paranoid maybe? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6dSj2ZOCpM
