I am looking at the instructions for the Hiboost FMIC and they are horrible. i dont understand one bit of these instructions. Does anyone know where or how it is easier to put this thing on. the instructions they give dont show a thing and when they do they dont show a good picture. this is a pain in the A$$ plus i dont have access to cut my injen intake so im F##Ked and no mechanics in TN can do decent so im stuck. this blows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A) have you checked in the "how-to" section?, B) have you searched the forums on this very topic? There are numerous posts which would be helpful to you as you will find with a search for the key words you're looking for ("hiboost install" or "hiboost fmic" etc).

good luck.

one tip, you might need an extra long silicone coupler to connect the pipe coming off the intercooler on the left to the pipe that mounts to the frame. mine was about 2-3 inches too short. i searched the problem and found many other hiboost kits with the same problem. no big deal just get a longer coupler.

and do you plan on running a dual bpv/bov setup or relocate the MAF?

i know on my kit the BOV flange is too close to the throttle body to relocate my MAF so i just run the dual setup.

Well i have a Turbonetics Godzilla BOV i was going to run on it and i dont know anything about relocating the MAF sensor. it looks to me like itll do ok where it is. I dont really have access to all kinds of tools so i gotta do it with what i got. (nothing to cut pipe and what not) i notice you need to cut your injen CAI. man i really dont wanna do this. why is it such a pain in the ass

You pretty much just need to wing it and look at the picture, find out which pipe goes where... you will be doing alot of shifting of pipes and couplings to get it all to fit. You also need to make sure you mount your radiator bracket lower part of it and the upper part. Took me and a buddie about 6 hours to put it all in and test it.

Dude, just take your bumper off and all stock ic piping and get all the piping and spot it up and figure out where s*** goes. Then loosely put stuff together. Move it all around til everything fits and then tighten the clamps. Get a buddy to help. You know, someone you can swear at when you're pissed. Took me and a buddy 3 1/2 hours and I was back on the road. Good luck.
